Is it really necessary to make someone have to go through that? All they had to do was insert a regular scratch off surface on the package or inside the package, and there would be no compromise of security. You can't install it without a license number, so this rendered the disk unusable. I finally was able to gently scratch off and reveal some of the numbers, but whatever adhesive they used on the label TOOK THE REST OF LICENSE NUMBER OFF WITH IT. My fingernail was not taking it off easily, so I continued to work at it, trying to peel it off. 1) The outside of the package said that I had to scratch off a label to reveal the license number. I just received this product, and I am furious for two reasons.
